Lazy pierogi (*pierogi leniwe*) are a simple Polish dish made from farmer’s cheese, eggs, and flour. The dough is soft but not sticky, rolled into logs and cut diagonally. Depending on taste, they can be served savory with melted butter and toasted breadcrumbs, or sweet with sour cream and sugar.

Lěnive pirogi są prostě poljske jelo iz tvoroga, jajec i muki. Těsto je měhko, no ne lěpi se, valjano v kladice i rezano po kosu. Varja se kratko v kipućej soli vode, dokud ne vyplavaju, običajno za dvě-tri minuty. Podavajut se po vkusu: slane s rastopljenym maslom i prženymi hlebnymi krupicami, ili sladke s kyslym smetanom i cukrom.
